Description:

Children's Home Society Florida offers out patient counseling for adults and families; Children's Home Society Florida provide mental health counseling for infants, school or clinic based individual and family; services are evidenced based, trauma informed assessment for at risk families (pregnant or with a child under three months of age) who wish to be linked to community resources to develop parenting skills, child development and family engagement curriculum. The program works with families up to five years after the birth of a child and private adoption services.

*Adoption Line: (904-415-5086) 24 hours; seven day a week*

Intake Process:

Children and Family Outpatient Counseling: complete intake process at initial visit with clinician (must be Medicaid recipient)
Healthy Families: call for an initial Intake Assessment
Adoption: call for an appointment

Program Fees:

Outpatient counseling is for Medicaid patients
No cost for Healthy Families Program for at risk families
Private Adoption Services: no cost for birth parent services
Adoptive parents may incur legal fees
