The Orlando Union Rescue Mission has been caring for the hungry and hurting in the Orlando area since its founding in 1948. Accommodating 120 men, there are two programs at the Men's Division. The Emergency Shelter and Discipleship Program.

Services provided daily: Hot nutritious meals, clean clothing, clean bed and hot showers, nightly chapel services and evangelism, Bible Studies, Biblically based counseling.

Discipleship program: Men who have been homeless and desire additional help in becoming self-sufficient can apply for this program. Applicants are screened to determine level of commitment and their capacity to benefit from the program. Program consists of intensive Christian instruction along with work therapy designed to develop self-discipline, solid work ethic and accountability. Intake Process:

intake starts at 2PM but recommended to arrive at 1PM

Program Fees:

Men off the street can stay at the Mission for 7 nights free of charge. After that, $6 night

Homeless Men with substance abuse or mental health problems. Photo ID required for entrance or ability to get ID within a week. Dry Shelter.
