Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides comprehensive community behavioral healthcare services to the Orange County community. Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare is a recognized and respected leader of behavior health care services in Central Florida. Our responsive, competent and comprehensive system of care is designed to enhance the emotional well-being of the people we serve and enables them the opportunity to lead healthier, more independent lives. Lakeside's Residential Plaza is located just off of Edgewater and Fairbanks Ave. Residential Plaza provides a therapeutic living environment for individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses or co-occurring substance use disorders.

Residential Plaza is home to:
Independence Place a 15 bed group home for adult males and females.
College Place duplex homes that can provide living for up to 36 individuals.

Hours:

Non-emergency assessments are available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 7 days a week, including holidays.

Emergency assessments are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Intake Process:

Call for appointment

After a brief assessment by our Assessment Specialist you will be given referrals and/or appointments for the appropriate services. The Assessment Specialist will explain the process to access recommended services which may be referrals to community resources.

Program Fees:

Medicaid (some medicare) accepted, contracted insurances

If you are currently without insurance you must be an Orange County resident to receive services at Lakeside.
