C.R.O.S. Ministries collaborates with people of different faiths and organizations to create solutions to the unmet needs of people in our community. C.R.O.S. is supported by churches, synagogues, community groups and private individuals throughout Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, all of whom share in this common goal.

The Caring Kitchen is our hot meal program that serves to homeless and near homeless individuals, families, people with low incomes, senior citizens, and children. The program also delivers hot meals to people who are home bound, primarily senior citizens. Volunteers visit with those we serve, record any needs and help connect them to social services. We also assist with minor home repairs. On Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. two bag lunches (one for Saturday and one for Sunday) are given to homeless and near homeless individuals and families, people with low incomes, senior citizens, and children in our community. This program is run in conjunction with Cason United Methodist Church located at 342 N. Swinton Ave. in Delray Beach.

The program also provides other services such as job search assistance and referrals to human service and social service agencies in an effort to move people to self-sufficiency. Volunteers assist participants to apply for Food Stamps, Medicaid and cash assistance by appointment only. Call (561) 271-1566 to make an appointment for assistance applying for food stamps, Medicaid, and cash assistance.

All of The Caring Kitchen programs are carried out primarily with donated food and volunteers.
