Community-based residential or health care facilities that provide treatment services and supportive services in the context of a 24-hour, supervised drug and alcohol-free environment for individuals who have problems related to substance abuse.
Substance Abuse Support Groups
Mutual support groups whose members are individuals who abuse alcohol or drugs including prescription and over-the-counter medication; groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet. Included are groups whose members are people who have been in a relationship, as children and as adults, with individuals who are involved in addictive, compulsive or other dysfunctional behavior.
